Rome 2015 Day 2

Day 2-Vatican City
The heart of Catholicism. The heart of Rome. The art in this place was absolutely magnificent, and I used the day to admire, and reflect. The interior art from Michelangelo was mind blowing. Just to think that one man dedicated his life to God, and art and was able to merge both to create this is inhumane.

This is one of the buildings I saw on the way to the
                                                                                                                      Vatican.

SNAPCHAT FILTERS IN ROME !

This is the area where the Pope will deliver his speeches. This area hold thousands of people on a frequent basis.

There was also a display of wooden figures from Africa and Asia from around the time that Vatican was under development. One even came from Nigeria!

I still can't get over the fact that a human could paint other humans to the extent that it is being questioned if it even possible to be produced by hand.

This marble man was in the entry of the centre.

Next was lunch, where I had the most amazing lasangne and the best starter, for only 10 euros. Dinner was mostly the same as the first day.

Motorbikes were like the red buses of Italy. They were Everywhere.
We also went to Roma Termini which is the main train station and the second largest in the world!
Day 2, Complete.
